• Rigveda
• Yajurveda
• Samveda

Rigveda
Rigveda is the first Veda, which is methodical. In this, Indra, Agni, Rudra, Varuna, Marut, Savitru, Surya and two Ashwini gods are praised. There are 11 thousand mantras in 1028 hymns in 10 chapters of Rigveda. About 125 such medicines have also been mentioned in it, which are found at 107 places. There are 5 branches of this Veda – Shakalpa, Vaskal, Ashwalayan, Shankhayan and Mandukayan.

Yajurveda
In Yajurveda, it has been told about the sacrifice given to the gods through fire. In this description is given about the methods and mantras of Yagya. Apart from this, philosophy has also been told in Yajurveda. There are two branches of this Veda, one Shukla and the other Krishna. There are 101 branches for Krishna (dark) Yajurveda and 17 for Shukla (bright) Yajurveda.

Samveda
‘Saam’ means song and music. They are to be sung through verses in Samveda. That’s why this Veda has special importance in music science. Savita, Agni and Indra gods have been mentioned in this. Most of the verses of this Veda have been taken from Rigveda and some new verses have been added, while some have been repeated. Altogether there are 1875 verses in Samveda. These verses are not meant to be chanted but to be sung. That’s why it is also called ‘Samagan’.

Atharvaveda
In the Atharvaveda, there is a description of mysterious knowledge, miracles and Ayurveda, which is a useful ritual to get worldly pleasures. It describes how to cure diseases, how to remove sins and its effects and what are the means to get wealth. Arthveda has 5687 mantras in 20 chapters. Metal Vedas and Bheshad Vedas are found in its eight sections.

• Ayurveda- It deals with medicine or herbal remedies for diseases.
  Dhanurveda: Dhanurveda has been told about the methods of defense and war against the enemy.
  Gandharvaveda, Gandharvaveda is related to music science.
  Economics, Economics deals with politics and economic outlook.
